We are pleased to announce that registrations for interactive online Czech language courses organized by the Krajánek ve svět association in cooperation with the Czech Association have begun.
In the 2022-2023 school year, approximately 170 students from 27 countries on five continents attended the courses. The children not only learned a lot, but also found friends in the class, and in cooperation with their parents, the organiser managed to support their long-term relationship with the Czech language and the Czech Republic.
The first round of registrations will end on 6/30/2023. The maximum number of students for the 2023-2024 school year is fixed. The possible second round of registrations will take place between August 21 and September 5, 2023.
Courses offered: preschoolers (5 - 6 years old), 1st - 5th grade, project-conversation courses, Czech as a second language
More information about individual courses and their content can be found at the website of the association.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
Distance online teaching of the Czech language is adapted to the specifics of Czech pupils living abroad for a long time. The project is primarily aimed at children who do not have access to Czech language lessons (e.g. they do not live in a place that has an active expatriate school or an expatriate association that organizes Czech lessons, or the education provided by the expatriate association does not cover their needs). The goal of the project is to create a system that would give children access to teaching, learning aids adapted to the specific conditions of multilingual children and the creation of inclusive classes made up of children living abroad.
