LPP Holding Triumphs in NATO Innovation Challenge 2026

Czech technology company LPP Holding has achieved a major international success by winning the NATO Innovation Challenge 2026, organized by NATO's Allied Command Transformation (ACT) and the NATO-Ukraine JATEC.

The competition focused on the challenge of Persistent Airfield Denial, seeking innovative solutions capable of limiting an adversary's ability to use military air bases for sustained offensive operations against NATO countries. Out of more than 60 participating companies from across the Alliance, LPP Holding's concept was selected as the overall winner.

The company's solution is based on autonomous unmanned platforms designed to operate effectively in GPS-denied environments and under intensive electronic warfare conditions. Drawing on lessons learned from the conflict in Ukraine, the concept emphasizes autonomy, resilience, and operational effectiveness in highly contested environments.

The award confirms the growing strength of Czech defense innovation and highlights the increasing importance of autonomous and unmanned systems in modern military operations.
