Online Christmas concert: Jakub Jan Ryba – Czech Christmas Mass

The Embassy of the Czech Republic in The Hague and the Czech Centre Rotterdam cordially invite you to the online Christmas concert performed by the Dvořák Chamber Orchestra and the Kühn Chamber Choir on 17th December 2020 from 19.00 hrs. Programme: Jakub Jan Ryba – Czech Christmas Mass
Since its first rendition in the Baroque church in Rožmitál pod Třemšínem in 1796, Ryba’s Christmas Mass has been a symbol of Czech Christmas, and it is where the concert was recorded. The concert is conducted by Libor Pešek and features a number of exceptional soloists as well as the original 1750 organ that Jan Jakub Ryba used to play.
