The Dutch translation of Božena Němcová's book "Pan učitel"/"De schoolmeester"

Official presentation of the  book "Pan učitel" / "De schoolmeester" written by great Czech writer Božena Němcová  took place on 8 February in National Onderwijsmuseum in Dordrecht.

The story was translated  by Irma Pieper and published by Douane  publishers. Publication of the Dutch translation was enabled thanks to the initiative of Stichting Babička to commemorate the  200th anniversary of the birth of Božena Němcová. Ambassador Kateřina Sequensová received the first copy.
