
Jaroslav Rudiš will present his novel Konec punku v Helsinkách in Groningen

On January 21st, the contemporary Czech writer Jaroslav Rudiš will present the Dutch translation of his book ,Konec punku v Helsinkách‘ (Het einde van de punk in Helsinki) in Groningen. The novel deals with two main topics - the punk scene in the communist Czechoslovakia and the post-punk life in The Eastern Germany.
The author will present the book in cooperation with the Dutch translator Edgar de Bruin. Mr. Albert-Jan Postma, the honorary consul of The Czech Republic in Groningen, will receive the first printed copy of the book ,Het einde van de punk in Helsinki‘. The moderator: Sander Brouwer (Rijksuniversiteit Groningen). The spoken language is English.
