The wide range of Czech-Dutch cultural relations includes both governmental and non-governmental activities.

On governmental level the main principals of mutual cultural relationship are stipulated in the bilateral Cultural Agreement signed in 1972. Further details of cultural cooperation are set forth in the Memorandum of Understanding concluded between the Ministries of Culture as well as in their working programs.

The non-governmental cultural activities are being supported and carried out by individuals, sponsors, foundations, universities and art schools, town halls, city or regional administrations and other entities.
