European Literature Night
27.04.2016 / 14:27 | Aktualizováno: 19.02.2018 / 12:01
The night of 11th May belongs to the European literature. Novelists from all over Europe will gather in Amsterdam at De Brakke Grond where they will share their stories of both their dreams and nightmares.
The central theme of the evening is "Europe's intimate territories," which reflects the current situation where masses of people fleeing terror in their homelands move and seek their new refuge.
To mention some names from the guestlist, you can look forward to Annelies Verbeke from Belgium, Mirna Funk from Germany or Iulian Ciocan from Moldova. For the Czech Republic, we are happy to welcome Bianca Bellová, a Czech novelist with bulgarian origin and the author of novels such as „Sentimentální román“, „Mrtvý muž“ or „Celý den se nic nestane“. The event is co-organized by the Czech Centre Rotterdam and the Dutch cluster of EUNIC.
When: May 11th, 8.30 p.m.
Where: De Brakke Grond, Nes 45, Amsterdam
