The position’s responsibilities include: 

-    collecting and processing information on commercial opportunities for Czech business companies in the KRI;
-    accompanying and assisting the Consul General of the Czech Republic in Erbil in his official meetings on economic and trade matters;
-    collecting and processing relevant information on the business environment in the KRI in general and in specific industry sectors;
-    processing requests for assistance or information from Czech business companies in relation to the KRI.

Applicants should have fluent knowledge of the Kurdish and English language, preferably also of Arabic. They should have a university degree in a relevant (economic-related) field of study, a driving license, and should have substantial working experience (five years minimum) in management positions at private or public companies, or state institutions, involved in international trade with the Kurdistan Region.
