On 23 September 2024, in the morning, approximately one hundred guests gathered at the Directorate of Fine Arts (Kurdish Ministry of Culture), which has appropriate facilities, to inaugurate together the exhibition: Franz Kafka: A Man of His and Our Time.   

With a little exaggeration, we can say that everyone knows Kafka. He is listed in every guidebook of the capital of Prague and tourists visit places associated with this author. They just admire his myth more than his real life. This exhibition gives readers a real insight into Franz Kafka's life, connecting his time with our own and highlighting the milestones of the author's life. Whether in the form of his fateful wives or friends from the Prague Circle. 

We were very pleased with the participation of the literary community, including the President of the Kurdish Authors' Union. There were also representatives of the diplomatic corps, government officials, NGOs, the public and finally, the media. Very special thanks to Mr. Farhang Ghafur, DG Culture/Art, for his long-term support and collaboration.
