On 7 June 2017 Madam Consul General carried out a monitoring mission of the Small Local Project - Mobile Paediatric Clinic in town of Sherfadin in the Sinjar District,  Niniveh Province, and at the same time officially opened this clinic at special ceremony for its full operation. The ceremony was attended by Messers. Mahma Khalil, Mayor of Sinjar, Naif Seido, Deputy Mayor for Sunune, Ashti Kochar, Commander of Assayish in Sinjar, Qasim Shasho, Pehrmerga Commander in Sinjar, Pir Dayan, Director of the Barzani Charity Foundation and MUDr. Shamo Rasho, who will perform medical practice at the clinic. Last, but not least, we have to mention representatives of the Singala Azad NGO - Ms Šárka Petrová, Head of the NGO,  Mr. Abdo Saly, Partner,  and Mr. Khairi Hasan Havind, Directior of the Project. The ceremony was covered by TV Zagros and TV Rudaw, to which Madam Consul General gave an interview.

The construction of the clinic, which was implemented by the NGO Singala Azad, was launched in March and finished in June. The NGO managed to complete it in less than three months. The Paediatric Clinic includes a sanitary facility, a drug  and medical supplies store, a waiting room, an examination room equipped with computer, and a doctor room. As part of the clinic equipment, there are potable water tanks, air conditioning units and storage areas for the used material. The fact that the clinic is a very effective element in encouraging people to return from the mountains back to the towns of Sherfadin, Sunune and others in the wider neighborhood is demonstrated by the number of 93 patients  looking for help in the clinics next day. Because of the unavailability of another medical facility in the territory, the clinician provides medical help both to children and adult patients.
