5) When and How I Can Get My Passport Back?

Your application will be decided on in 15 days. Therefore, your passport will be ready for collection on the same day of the week 2 weeks after submitting your application (for example if you apply on Wednesday, 4th October, then you can collect your passport on Wednesday, 18th October). Office hours for passport collection are from 3 pm to 4 pm.

In some exceptional cases, the period for deciding on your application can be extended for another 30 days. However, if this happens we will inform you before the expected passport collection date. Therefore, if you do not receive any email or phone call from our Embassy, you can come on the scheduled collection date or later (collection days are Mondays and Wednesdays from 3 to 4 p.m.).
