The evening was opened by the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Denmark, Jiří Ellinger, who highlighted the importance of business initiatives that combine innovation, sustainability, and Czech-Danish cooperation.

The main programme featured a fashion show followed by an exhibition of OUR SHIFT products. The company specializes in the technical upcycling of textile materials. Among other sources, it uses tents abandoned after Danish music festivals that would otherwise end up in incinerators or landfills. These materials are then transformed into jackets, vests, bags, and other products designed for everyday use.

A key figure behind the project is Czech designer Milan Flíček, a graduate of the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, who is responsible for the creative direction of the brand. The company is currently led by Doron Bauer, who serves as CEO of OUR SHIFT.

Among the guests were dozens of ambassadors and diplomats, as well as the two Honorary Consuls of the Czech Republic in the Kingdom of Denmark, Maliina Abelsen of Nuuk, Greenland, and Stig Hellstern of Aarhus. The event also welcomed a prominent figure of Danish politics, Lea Wermelin, former Minister for the Environment and current Member of the Danish Parliament (Folketing) for the Social Democrats.

The evening also included a networking session focused on practical applications of circular economy principles in the textile industry and beyond. Discussions demonstrated growing interest among Danish and international partners in solutions that combine economic viability with waste reduction.

Refreshments were provided by the Czech company BeerBros, which served excellent draft beer from the Czech brewery Bernard.
