The Danish National Symphony Orchestra played Dvořák

On Thursday 6 March 2014 at the concert hall Koncerthuset in Copenhagen, The Danish National Symphony Orchestra lead by the Russian conductor Dmitrij Kitajenko, played music by the Czech composer Antonín Dvořák.
Concert program:
Carnival Overture, Op. 92 (1891)
Cello Concerto in B minor, Op. 104 (1895) – played by internationally respected cello player Daniel Müller-Schott
The Symphony No. 9in E minor, From the New World, Op. 95 (1893)
The Czech Embassy in Copenhagen arranged with the organizer a special 10% discount for the tickets bought through a link on the embassy´s webside.
After the concert the listeners with such tickets were invited by the Czech ambassador for a glass of wine in the bar Metrohjørnet in the foyer.
This May, we commemorate the death of Antonín Dvořák 110 years ago. The Copenhagen concert is a tribute to the Czech composer not only by the program but also by the unique 1809 seats concert hall with great acoustics.
