On 2 – 8 June 2015, the fifth Jewish Culture Festival was held in Copenhagen. The Czech band Trombenik was among the performers and played a concert on Wednesday June 3 in the Copenhagen synagogue.
Trombenik has been dedicated to klezmer music since 2001. The distinctive sound of the band comprises five instruments: clarinet, violin, banjo, double bass and drums. They sing in immigrant-accented English and Yiddish. Trombenik has played for audiences not only in the Czech Republic, but also in many places abroad.
