Czech Classical Music concert in Tivoli

On Thursday 5 June 2014 in the Concert hall of the amusement park Tivoli in Copenhagen, the solo player Toke Møldrup and the Tivoli Symphony Orchestra lead by conductor Lan Shui played Cello Concerto by Antonín Dvořák.

Program:
Antonín Dvořák: Cello Concerto in B minor (1895)
Josef Suk: Symphony Asrael (1906)

The concert was a tribute to two significant Czech composers: Antonín Dvořák, whose 110th death anniversary we commemorate this year, and Dvořák´s student and son-in-law Josef Suk, whose 140th anniversary of birth we also celebrate in 2014.
