Film screening of "Adelheid"

Copenhagen was hit by autumn and the Embassy of the Czech Republic is back with our film nights to warm you up. On 25 Semptember, we screened the film "Adelheid" directed by the renowned František Vláčil. The plot takes place after the end of World War II in the border area in northern Moravia (so called Sudetenland). Many Germans still live in this area, before they are expelled from the country. People, who were forced to leave their homes during the war, are now coming back. Many of them are looking for a new place to stay as well as for a revenge.
