To  commemorate  the  International  Holocaust  Remembrance  Day  and   this  year´s  70th anniversary of the liberation of the people in the Nazi concentration camps, the movie  Broken Promise by director  Jiří Chlumský was chosen for the event. The film, based on an autobiographical book of the same name by Martin Friedmann – Petrášek, tells the story of a young Slovak Jewish boy during the Second World War. The evening at the sold-out cinema was  attended  by  Danish  guests  as  well  as  guests  from the  Czech  and  Slovak  expatriate associations.
