Exhibition ”1989 as Seen by Photographers“ in Copenhagen

On 9 October, Danish public’s meeting with Mr Richard von Weizsäcker, former German Federal President (1984-1994), and Mr Uffe Ellemann-Jensen, former Danish Minister of Foreign Affairs (1982-1993), took place in the Lectures Hall of the Copenhagen University’s Rectorate.
The topic of the “European Dialogue“ which was listened by the audience of about 500 people, was the Fall of the Wall. On this occasion, the Czech Embassy presented an exhibition of Czech documentary photography called 1989 as Seen by Photographers and Peter Sís’ book The Wall: Growing Up Behind the Iron Curtain to the Danish public.
