How to book an appointment for a long-term visa/residence permit for applicants wishing to visit the Czech Republic for the following purposes only:
1) Study
2) Family Unification
3) Cultural
4) Sport
5) Blue Card
6) Enterpreneurship
7) Scientific researches
8) Erasmus+
9) Intra-Company Employee Transfer Card

Conditions for Sending the Registration Email:
Visa Appointment Registration Rules
1) Email Submission: Send your request to cairo.longtermvisa@mzv.gov.cz.
2) One Applicant = One Email: Each applicant must send only one email. Multiple emails for the same person within the specified period will result in automatic disqualification, even if sent from different addresses. Exception: Parents can include their minor children in their request.
3) Eligibility for Non-Egyptian Applicants: Only citizens of Egypt, Sudan, Eritrea, Yemen, and Palestine can apply directly. Other nationalities must have lived in Egypt for over 2 years on a non-touristic residence permit and must include a scanned copy of this permit (PDF format) in their registration email.
Content Conditions of the Registration Email:
a) The registration email must be sent to the following email address:
If your email is addressed to any other embassy email in the CC field, it will be considered invalid and will be immediately discarded.
b) The email must include the following information:
1) In the subject line you must state only the purpose of travel (single word) from the list below.
2) Attachments must be sent in pdf format only.
Send:
- a scan of the data page of the travel document/passport.
- a scan of the document proving the purpose of your stay.
Study: enrollement letter or confirmation of study
Family reunification: Marriage or birth certificate, along with the application number, visa, or residency card of the principal applicant
If the document is not in English or Czech, a translated copy of the document must also be included.
3) The body of the email should contain the following data/questionnaire:
Name:
Surname:
Date of birth:
Nationality:
Travel document No.:
Purpose of stay:
Phone and e-mail:
4) The email attachments should not exceed 2 MB.
Visa Appointment Registration – Important Rules
✔ Email Requests: Only valid requests with the required attachments in the correct format (max 2 MB) will be accepted. Invalid requests will be ignored.
✔ Appointment Confirmation: If your request is valid, you will receive a confirmation email within 15 days. If you do not recieve a reply from the Embassy during this period, means your request was discarded due to non-compliance.
✔ Spam & Bulk Emails: Multiple registrations using software tools or emails that prevent replies will be rejected.
✔ Final & Fixed Dates: Appointments cannot be changed. If you cancel or miss your appointment, you must reapply via email.
✔ Email for Registration Only: Use cairo.longtermvisa@mzv.gov.cz only for appointments.
✔ Fair Appointment System: The Czech Embassy in Dakar assigns appointments strictly in the order of received emails, based on consular capacity.
