Signature verification
Documents for signature verification can only be submitted after arranging an appointment by email at cairo.consulate@mzv.gov.cz
Indicate in the body of the email the number of signatures to be verified, how many documents are involved and in what language they are written.
The Consular Department will verify the authenticity of the signature only in the personal presence of the applicant, who must present an identity document with a photo.
Signature verification only in written, fax or similar communication without the personal presence of the applicant is inadmissible.
It is not possible to verify the authenticity of a signature on an uncompleted document or on a document that does not contain any text.
The Embassy will not verify a document whose content it cannot reliably assess; if its content is in clear conflict with the laws or other generally binding legal regulations of the Czech Republic or if the document, by its content or purpose, circumvents the laws of the Czech Republic or is contrary to good morals; if it is in clear conflict with the legal order of the country of the diplomatic mission's jurisdiction; if there are changes, additions, insertions or deletions in the document that could weaken its credibility.
The verification fee is charged for each individual signature and is collected in cash, before the verification act is performed, in the local currency of EGP.
