Czech representative at a conference of historians in Bucharest

On 20-21 October 2016, a historian of the Association of Czechoslovak Legionaries Petr Tolar participated in an international conference on military actions in 1916 on the territory of Romania.
The conference, which took place in historical premises of the House of Army (Cercul Militar National) in Bucharest with participation of historians from Romania, Republic of Moldova, Greece, Serbia, Hungary, Italy, France, Germany, Ukraine and the Czech Republic aimed at evaluation of the impact of 1916 on the First World War dynamics, as well as importance of Romania´s entry into the Great War.
P.Tolar´s speech covered participation of Czech soldiers within the 1st Serbian Volunteer Division in the fighting in Dobrogea in 1916.
