Mutual Relations
The modern day international relations between the Czech Republic and the Swiss Confederation are traditionally on an exceptionally good level and reach far into the past century.
The maintaining of good relations with foreign states lies within the authority of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which has its main office in the Prague Czernin Palace (as depicted above).
The diplomats and other embassy staff who are being posted abroad are employees of the Minstry of Foreign Affairs and thus directed by the ministry. A certain exception can be seen in the economic and business attachés who are also employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, but also work very closely with the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
