The Consular Section of the Embassy of the Czech Republic Bern has a new appointment system. The usual walk-in service has been suspended until further notice.
The operations of the consular section of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Bern are currently reduced due to the situation caused by the COVID -19 pandemic. Attendance in person is allowed by email or telephone appointment only and under the conditions that health measures are adhered to.
To schedule an appointment to attend the consular section in person you need to send an email to bern.consulate@mzv.gov.cz or contact consular officers by phone - 0041 31 350 40 91 or 0041 31 350 40 92 - during office hours from 2 pm to 4 pm. Without prior request by email and subsequent confirmation by a consular officer attendance at the office will not be possible.
Cancellations have to be notified by phone or email. Only such and proper notification can be linked to a new request for a new appointment. We kindly request kind consideration towards other clients, who would be able to attend a possible cancellation.
There is a requirement to use protective covers of mouth and nose - face mask or at least scarf - for all persons. It is not allowed to enter the building without a face covering. If you have a fever or elevated temperature please postpone your appointment.
