The Czech Republic has elected its new president: Petr PAVEL

The second round of the Czech presidential elections took place 27.-28.1. 2023. Two candidates with the highest score from the first round took part, Petr Pavel close winner of the first round and Andrej Babiš.
In the second round Petr Pavel won 58.3 percent of votes while Andrej Babiš scored 41.7 percent according to Czech Statistical Office data. Petr Pavel becomes the President elect of the Czech Republic.
