2017-New models of ŠKODA AUTO introduced in Greece

The brand new ŠKODA AUTO models – the SUV Karoq and popular Rapid - saw their Greek premiere at the Athens Avtokinisi Fair. The representatives of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Athens were there to eyewitness the success story of the renowned Czech car producer. It was pleasing to hear that after several years of economic downturn the Škoda cars represent again popular choice for Greek taxi drivers and even the Police.
The “Avtokinisi 2017 Passenger Car Fair” took place at the Athenian Exhibition Center on former Elliniko Airport between November 11-19, 2017.
The world car producers used this opportunity for 15 Greek national premieres of their new models. ŠKODA AUTO represented by KOSMOCAR S.A. was one of them. Its exhibition stand - one of the biggest at the fair – had the advantage of being located right next to the main entrance. The newly introduced Škoda models were the SUV Škoda Karoq and facelifted Škoda Rapid Scout.
The Embassy gladly accepted the invitation of KOSMOCAR S.A. to be present on the premiere of new models. It was really pleasing to learn on that occasion that after several years of economic downturn Škoda cars rediscover their way to taxi service across the country. The Greek Police in their turn have also built on the good previous experience with Škoda and the new models are again finding their way to the Police units.
