In case you plan to take a taxi, please do not forget to remind the taxi driver to drop you off in the area of Palaio Psychiko since the same address ( Georgiou Seferi Street ) is also to be found in the neighbouring area called Neo Psychiko. By car or by taxi
From the centre of the City (Syntagma square) take the avenue of Vasilis Sofias and by Hilton hotel turn left to Kifisias avenue. After about 2 - 3 kilometres you are advised to choose between two options:
a) At once you pass the President hotel (on left side), keep going in the right strip of the road so that you leave Kifisias avenue over an underpass where you turn left to Mouson street (you pass by the Israel Embassy) and just after you turn right to Vasileos Pavlou street. Taking this street you reach Plateia Eukalypton square and continue straight along the same street.On the second crossroad you turn left to Dimokratias street (driving straight ahead is prohibited) and you pass by the Agios Dimitrios church (on your left side). Finally you arrive to the second crossroad where you turn left to Dolasik street, go approximately 50 m on and then turn right to Georgiou Seferi street.
b) In case that you missed the first underpass in Kifisias avenue it is necessary to refrain from entering the second underpass. Keep right and continue to the crossroad called Faros Psychikou (on your right side you can see AB Vasilopoulos supermarket) and turn left to 25 Martiou street. Arriving to the first circus (PlateiaVasileos Georgiou) and continue along Diamantidou street further on. At once you reach the second circus (Plateia Eleftheriou Venizelou), go straight on (still along Diamantidou street) to the first crossroad when you turn left to Dimokratias street. Drive straight ahead, you pass the first turning (Solomou) and you turn right by second street called Dolasik.Drive approximately 50 m and turn right to Georgiou Seferi street.
By public transport (bus No. 653)
No. 653 is the only bus that goes to Palaio Psychiko. The bus terminal is on the crossroad of the streets Panormou and Leoforos Alexandras. In Palaio Psychiko you can get off either in a bus stop on the second circus of Platia Eleftheriou Venizelou (often called as "defteri platia") or a few minutes later in a bus stop in Valaoritou street.
From the circus of Eleftheriou Venizelou go along Mavili street and further along Dolasik street. After round 100 m turn right to Georgiou Seferi street. From the bus stop in Valaoritou street keep on going approximately 50 m in the same direction and then turn left to Georgiou Seferi street.
