The talks focused on strengthening Czech–Ethiopian cooperation in the health sector, including opportunities for deeper institutional collaboration and partnership with the private sector. Healthcare has been repeatedly highlighted among the priority areas for Czech engagement in Ethiopia, alongside other sectors supporting Ethiopia’s development agenda. 

The meeting also discussed practical follow‑up, including expert‑level contacts and identification of concrete cooperation areas where Czech know‑how and solutions can contribute to Ethiopia’s health priorities. The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Addis Ababa will continue supporting next steps and facilitating links between Czech and Ethiopian partners.
