Join us for a memorable evening as the Embassy of the Czech Republic proudly presents world-class guitarist Rudy Linka in his captivating One Man Show – It Would Be So Simple… on April 3, 2025, at 6:30 PM.
In this one-of-a-kind performance, Rudy intertwines a theatrical stand-up performance with mesmerizing solo guitar pieces, while also sharing personal photographs from his private archive. His new show, It would be so simple…, honors the legacy of Franz Kafka, whose presence continues to resonate with us, even a century after his death.
ABOUT RUDY LINKA:
A virtuoso guitarist born in Prague in 1960, Rudy Linka is acclaimed worldwide for his unique blend of jazz and classical guitar. With extensive training at prestigious institutions like Berklee College of Music and The New School, he has performed with some of the legends of the jazz world, including Jim Hall, John Abercrombie, and John Scofield. The Philadelphia Inquirer praised Rudy's "intelligent playing," while DownBeat Magazine described his style as "Jim Hall meets John Scofield." Rudy founded and directs Bohemia JazzFest, a major international music festival held annually across the Czech Republic attracting over 90,000 attendees.
