Theater Viola at the Kennedy Center
28.10.2015 / 19:00
Theater Viola from Prague presents their interactive plays based on Czech fairy tales on October 28, 2015, at 6 pm, at the Kennedy Center!
The interactive performance draws viewers into the magic world of Czech fairy tales, folk songs and games. The audience plays a key role as actors and singers imitating different bird songs. In the Czech Republic, there is a wide variety of birds that have their own song. Sung together, the audience will perform quite the concert!
The performers will feature fairy tales about a grandpa who planted a beet that grew enormously large, Little John, the Not-so-good Goat, the Piggy with a red ribbon and a golden little bell, as well as the well-known story about the young rooster and hen. Through the interactive storytelling, children will be able to step into the stories, and even help the hen save the rooster.
