Harafica has recorded a long-awaited Christmas album this year, titled “Vánoční příběhy” (which translates to “Christmas Stories” in English). They will perform a few songs from the album to bring the spirit of the season to the Czech Embassy.

About Harafica:

Harafica ranks among the best bands to listen to in the Czech Republic. Led by experienced cimbalom player and music director Petr Gablas and lead violinist Martin Melichárek, this charismatic group has earned recognition on the domestic front, gaining many fans among Czech audiences. This year, they are also joined by Kristýna Daňhelová, a Czech musical singer and actress.

Harafica performs with vigor and passion that radiates through their eclectic programs – from traditional folk and classical music to modern melodies. Their concerts in their hometown of Uherské Hradiště and venues across the Czech Republic sell out in a matter of hours. The band has released three albums and worked with a number of distinguished Czech artists, including Květa Fialová, Vojtěch Dyk and Ondřej Brzobohatý. They have also performed in several European countries, including Spain, Switzerland and France.
