17.05.2016 / 19:00
In director Martin Frič's film The Poacher’s Foster Daughter (Pytlákova schovanka), young naive Ellen (Hana Vítová) runs away from home to escape an arranged marriage and falls for millionaire René (Oldřich Nový). They initially meet on a train but go their separate ways until fate springs upon them again. With her beautiful voice and stunning good looks, she hopes to make it in the acting realm. However, her dreams are short-lived by the conniving studio boss who seems to have other plans for her beauty. Instead of trusting him, she sets out on finding her own way and ends of meeting a violinist who falls head over heels for her. When she least expects it though, her path crosses again with René who has been fantasizing and searching for her for days. Will she reciprocate this infatuating desire?
