Celebration - 165th Anniversary of Masaryk's Birth

The Embassies of the Czech and Slovak Republics feature an afternoon of celebrations honoring Tomáš G. Masaryk. The event will include an SVU lecture about the founding father of Czechoslovakia by Robert Enholm, Executive Director of the Woodrow Wilson House. Guests will also enjoy Masaryk’s favorite Czech and Slovak songs performed by children from Sokol Washington and the Slavic-American Sokol.

Refreshments will be served following the event.
The event is organized in collaboration with the Washington Chapter of the Czechoslovak Society of Arts and Sciences (SVU), Slavic-American Sokol, and Sokol Washington.
