ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorization System) - last quarter of 2026

As of the last quarter 2026, citizens from over 60 visa-exempt /visa-free/ countries, including US will be required to have a travel authorization to enter most European countries, including the Czech Republic. 
 

The official website of ETIAS https://travel-europe.europa.eu/etias_en  provides information on who should apply, how to apply, what documents are needed and how much it costs. It also includes additional information on limited validity travel authorizations or appeal rights.
