Embassy of the Czech Republic in Vilnius provides consular services daily in the official working hours of the Embassy, i.e. 9,00 – 12,00 hrs (Monday – Friday).

All communication regarding visa issues must be conducted only through the official Embassy's e-mail box or via phone, fax or written letter. Any message sent through the Facebook site of the Embassy can´t be accepted and answered.

 

NOTICE - Regionalisation of visa sections of Czech Embassies in Member States of the Schengen area

Applications for visas to enter the Czech Republic and application for long-term and permanent stay in the Czech Republic by residents of the Schengen area can be lodged only at the Dresden Visa Centre. Please schedule an appointment to submit a long-term visa or residence permit application. The regionalisation applies to all kinds of residence permits in the Czech Republic (visa up to 90 days of stay, visa over 90 days of stay, long term residency permit and permanent residency permit).

The regionalisation has by no means any influence on other consular services of the Czech Embassies/Consulates General.

The decision about regionalisation was motivated by a significantly lower number of visa applications at the Czech Embassies/Consulates General in the Member States of the Schengen area and by the efforts in order to improve the efficiency of the Czech Embassies/Consulates General.
