Dual Transition project launched in Mongolia with the involvement of the Czech organisation People in Need

The Dual Transition project has been officially launched in Mongolia. The project is being implemented by the Czech international NGO People in Need in cooperation with the Delegation of the European Union to Mongolia and other partners.
The project aims to strengthen the capacity of civil society organisations in the areas of digital transformation and climate resilience. Its objective is to promote sustainable and inclusive development in Mongolia and to support the participation of civil society in national and international processes, including Mongolia’s preparations to host COP17 in 2026.
The initiative will support the institutional development of selected organisations, strengthen their strategic engagement, promote peer learning, and create opportunities for participation in policy discussions. Grant support and capacity-building activities will also form an important part of the project.
The Czech Republic welcomes the prominent role of the Czech organisation People in Need in this important initiative. The organisation has a long-standing presence in Mongolia and has been actively contributing to the empowerment of local communities, civil society, and sustainable development.
