Europe Between America and Russia

On Wednesday, 30 July, Tereza Novotná, a professor at the Free University of Berlin, led a workshop with political science students and experts from the Minass Institute (Institute of Northeast Asian Security and Strategy) on the topic The European Union Between America and Russia.

The discussion touched on the war in Ukraine and its economic consequences, the functioning and institutional structure of the European Union, among other related topics.

 

“I was truly impressed by the expertise of Mongolian political scientists and their perspectives on today’s global challenges,” commented Novotná, who was invited by the organisers to attend the upcoming UB Dialog 2026.
