The Czech flag was raised in Toronto to commemorate the Czech National Holiday

To commemorate the Independence Day of Czechoslovakia, the flag-raising ceremony took place on the grounds of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario.
 

The ceremony emphasized the excellent relations between the Czech Republic and the province of Ontario.

We would like to express our thanks to the representatives of Provincial Parliament, the diplomatic corps, Czech community, everyone who was present at this special event despite the rainy weather.
