On November 17, 2025, the Day of the Struggle for Freedom and Democracy, the Consul General, together with his wife and members of MMI, gathered at Masaryktown stately premises to honor bravery of fighters for freedom and democracy and the role students played in turning points of history. They also laid flowers and lit candles in memory of those who contributed to making today's freedom a reality.
