After being received by the President of the Republic of Albania, Bajram Begaj, and Prime Minister Edi Rama, he held talks with his counterpart, the Minister for Europe and Foreign Relations, Igli Hasani. After a working lunch, both ministers opened the Czech-Albanian-Kosovo Defense and Security Forum and subsequently spoke at the Conference of Mayors of the Western Balkans and the V4 on the synergy of local governments for regional cooperation and integration into the EU. In the early evening, as part of a meeting with friends of the Czech Republic notábly Albanian university students in the former Czechoslovakia, he awarded Ms. Marika Dhonato the Medal for Merit in Diplomacy. The visit confirmed excellent bilateral relations, including people-to-people contacts, shared values ​​and foreign policy orientation, the Czech Republic's continuous support for Albania in its efforts to join the EU by 2030, and emphasized the need to focus on the potential for trade and investment enhancement.
