The organist Josef Kratochvíl performed in Israel

Organ recitals by the talented Czech organist Josef Kratochvíl took place in Haifa, Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. The program featured works by Czech and Jewish composers.

The recitals were held on the occasion of commemorating the legacy of the Czech diplomat Josef Vochoč, who during his diplomatic mission in Marseille during World War II. helped save thousands of Jews from certain death in concentration camps. In January 2025, we marked the 40th anniversary of his passing.
