Czech dancer Andrej Lyga performed at the Jerusalem International Solo Dance Festival

On September 12, 2024, Czech dancer Andrej Lyga performed at the International Festival of Solo Dance in Jerusalem with his performance "A Tale for the Brave." This cultural event was organized by the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Tel Aviv in cooperation with the Czech Centre Tel Aviv.

Lyga's performance depicted the story of a phantom living deep in the magical forests, who attracts the passers-by, enchants them and eventually takes over their bodies. This story, told entirely through movement without a single word, took the audience on a journey full of danger and mysterious creatures hiding in the shadows. The audience witnessed the protagonist's struggle with supernatural forces as he constantly had to decide who he could trust.

Andrej Lyga's performance was met with positive feedback from the audience, who appreciated his unique storytelling through movement and expression. A Tale for the Brave offered an extraordinary experience, combining the art of dance with suspense and mysticism, leaving a deep artistic impression on the audience. Lyga's performance added a distinctive moment to the Jerusalem International Solo Dance Festival and further underlined the high quality of this year's event.
