Many people perceive Prague as the most beautiful European city and touristic site. Our wish is to add another dimensions to this picture and to show Prague as a city of dynamic and turbulent cultural life and modern art.
Days of Prague are bringing to Jerusalem this May and June the unique theatre performance „Obludarium“ by Forman Brothers, modern dance company DOT 504 with their show Mah Hunt, an extraordinary jazz formation of Israeli and Czech musicians lead by Jaroslav Jakubovic, special multimedia Czech-American project Defiant Requiem – Terezin Remembered, concert of the Kühn Choir of Prague, culinary show by Czech Chef Radek Prihonsky and exhibitions Prague Panoramic, Assassination of Reinhard Heydrich and Prague functionalism. Last but not least ZOO Prague will present itself with expositions about preservation of the protected kind of animals.
The project Days of Prague has been prepared together with the Prague and Jerusalem Municipality, Israel Festival and the Czech Ministry of Culture. Days of Prague will be officially inaugurated on the 5th of June by the Mayor of Prague Bohuslav Svoboda on the occasion of his visit to Jerusalem and his meeting with the Mayor Nir Barkat.
The event is organized with general support of the City of Prague, Embassy of the Czech Republic in Israel, Czech Centres, Israeli-Czech Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Czech brands Staropramen, Skoda Car and Czech Airlines.
