BE OUR GUEST II – Gallery On the Fence

We are inviting you to an exhibition presenting portraits of guests of Czech Centre Tel Aviv visiting Israel. This series is a result of a long term project by the photographer Pavlina Schultz, who set herself the goal of creating a photo archive of personalities presenting Czech culture in Israel. Represented here are dancers Martin Šalanda and Roman Zotov, guitar virtuoso and composer Štěpán Rak, actress Judit Bárdos, film director Jan Hřebejk, architect and actor David Vávra, documentary film producer Jarmila Poláková, guitar virtuoso Petra Poláčková, film director Zdeněk Tyc, jazz quartet Clarinet Factory and dance company Verte Dance.
Pavlina Schultz was born in Prague, Czech Republic. She moved to Israel in 2008 where she pursue her carrier as a photographer. She is the author of a documentary series The Wingmen, Tell Me What You Eat, Israel Geometric or TLV24. She is also the founder of a blog FromTelAviv aiming to show everyday life and the spirit of the city. The exhibition is organized by Czech Centre Tel Aviv in cooperation with Czech Embassy.
The exhibition is on display in the outdoor Gallery on the Fence (Czech Embassy, 23 Zeitlin, Tel Aviv) from 1.11. - 31. 12. 2016.
