The Czech Republic´s diplomatic mission celebrated Czech National Day in the garden of the Jerusalem Cinematheque, seat of the Czech House. The event was opened by a speech by the Czech Ambassador Martin Stropnicky (partially in Hebrew), followed by a speech by the Israeli Minister of Justice Amir Ohana. The national anthems of both states were played live on the accordion played by P. Koren. The cymbalo band Horňácká muzika Petra Mičky, which provided musical accompaniment during the evening, aroused a great deal of interest among the guests.
