
Avraham Harshalom became this year's laureate of Gratias Agit award

On June 17, 2016 minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Lubomir Zaoralek awarded in Czernin Palace in Prague the prize Gratias Agit. Among the 16 laureates of this year was also Czech compatriot living in Israel, Mr. Avraham Harshalom, chairman of the Israel – Czech Republic Friendship Association. Congratulations!
Gratias Agit has been awarded since 1997 to Czech compatriots and friends of the Czech Republic, who arouse selflessly the interest for the Czech Republic in the world and help to increase its visibility and positive image in foreign countries. Among the laureates are bohemicists, translators, scientists, businessmen, artists, writers, educators or sportsmen. The award consists of a diploma and a crystal globe by academic painter Zdeněk Petr. The award does not include financial reward.
