Annual meeting of Hitachduth Yotsei Czechoslovakia

The Czech Embassy hosted on 14 December 2017 the annual meeting of the Association of Czechoslovak Jews living in Israel. After the lighting of Chanukah candles by representatives of this Association, greetings of Slovak Ambassador P. Hulényi and chargé d´affaires of the Czech Republic K. Pažourek and singing Chanukah songs, the members were informed about activities of the Association in 2017 and the plans for 2018 incl. events commemorating 100 years of foundation of Czechoslovakia and 70 years of foundation of the State of Israel.  The Association voted the leadership for the next year: Nathan Steiner – Chairman, Danielle Morgenstern – chairman of Tel Aviv branch, Miriam Kama – Chairwoman of Haifa branch. In the end the numerous compatriots saw a traditional Czech film.
