Madam Speaker visited State of Israel

On 18-21 June 2023, Markéta Pekarová Adamová, Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, made an official visit to the State of Israel.
On Monday, the Madam Speaker met with representatives of the KKL Israel and the KKL Czech Republic in the Masaryk Forest followed by meeting with representatives of the Friends of Israel Society of the Czech Republic in Kibbutz Sarid. In the evening, a reception was organized on the occasion of her visit. It was a great opportunity to meet Czech compatriots and representatives of Czech compatriot organizations. On 20 June, the Madam Speaker visited the Yad Vashem Museum in Jerusalem and paid tribute to the memory of the victims of the Holocaust. In the afternoon, she was received in the Israeli Parliament - Knesset, where she held talks with the Speaker of the Knesset and the President of the Friends of Israel and the Czech Republic and signed a Memorandum of Understanding. At the end of her four-day trip, she met with Yitzhak Herzog, President of the State of Israel.
