IWAG Announces 16th Winter Fair – December 5th, 2015

The International Women’s Association Georgia (IWAG) is pleased to announce that the annual Winter Fair 2015 will be held at the Radisson Blu Iveria Hotel on Saturday, December 5th, 2015 - from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The objective is to raise funds in order to support projects in Georgia with a focus on women, children, and elderly in need, and those with special needs.
Traditionally held as Christmas approaches, this is the 15th Winter Fair in IWAG history. Embassies and consulates representing: Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Italy, Iran, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom, United States of America and Qatar are actively preparing their stands, offering visitors the opportunity to purchase souvenirs, decorations, crafts, and food items from their home countries.
The Winter Fair 2015 is for the whole family! Come and shop from the numerous Georgian artisans’ tables, sample dishes from around the world and visit Santa for the traditional picture taking.
The International Women's Association Georgia is a non-profit, non-governmental organization and part of the International Women's Association worldwide network. The organization strives to enhance its members’ understanding of Georgia, which enables life to be easier for expatriates. IWAG consists of several social groups such as community services and fundraising. IWA Georgia supports children, adults with mental disability, women, and elderly at risk due to poverty, poor health or disability all over Georgia. Most projects deal with medical, social or educational issues.
