Czech children illustrations exhibition with workshops

The opening of contemporary Czech children´s book illustration took place in a very unusual way – it was accompanied by workshops where small visitors had enough opportunities to „immitate“ adult artists and create their masterpieces similar to those displayed.
For example, children could finish the comic story, make collages of fairy-tales personages or make their own „oddsockeater“ (hero from animated film created by Czech illustrator G. Miklínová). The smallest ones were invited to solve the paper mazes or colour the images from the exhibition.
The event was held in E. Akhvlediani Children´s Art Gallery in Tbilisi on Saturday 23rd March 2019. Workshops attracted more than a hundred children, mostly Georgians. The exhibition is to be displayed for following 1-2 weeks.
