
Škoda & Tatra Car Manufacturing Traditions exhibition officially opened in the showroom of the Honorary Consulate of the Czech Republic in Coolum, Queensland.

On Sunday 25 May 2025 the Škoda & Tatra Manufacturing Traditions exhibition was officially opened in the showroom of the Honorary Consulate of the Czech Republic in Coolum. The Consul-General of the Czech Republic Zuzana Slováková and the Honorary Consul of the Czech Republic in Coolum Frank Carroll both took part in the opening.
After opening speeches, visitors had the opportunity to peruse the exhibition that was put together by the Škoda and Tatra Register in Australia, which brings together fans of all eras of Škoda and Tatra automobiles from all over Australia. The exhibition showcases the rich history of the iconic Czech brands Škoda and Tatra from the end of the 19th Century until the current day, mapping the milestones in automobile production in the context of social and political change.
Alongside the exhibition, there are 34 historical vehicles including a 1951 Škoda 1102 sedan, which are on permanent display in the showroom.
